As we enter into the New Year, we have a few changes to announce.
During the last five years E. H. Burrell Co., Inc. has focused our business on parts distribution and we have had success in providing you, our customer, the parts and customer service you need. With our recent expansion in inventory lines, including Trailer Parts for Semis and Suspension Parts, we have continued to move forward as a progressive Parts Distributor. We currently house over 2 million dollars in parts inventory at our three locations in Salem , Eugene and Portland and have just completed a 10,000 square foot addition at our Portland Store.
As of January 3, 2006 our Truck Shop and Machine Shop Repair Equipment will be sold to TriSand, Inc. who will operate out of the same Truck Shop and Machine Shop space we currently occupy at our Salem store. All of our employees in those departments are being given the opportunity to maintain their tenure and benefits and to join the TriSand Team.
TriSand Inc. has been in business since 1971 and has an excellent reputation in the truck repair industry, employing approximately 18 mechanics and 7 support staff in Eugene , Oregon and they are looking forward to expanding their operations in Salem . It also gives you, our customer, an opportunity for expanded hours of service to meet your repair needs. TriSand Inc plans to operate with a swing shift to provide you with convenient repair service. Our Salesmen will be able to assist you in converting your repair accounts and to help you coordinate repair work through TriSand.
E. H. Burrell Co., Inc. will continue to operate its Electrical Rebuilding Department at the Salem store and to continue to concentrate our efforts to expand our Parts Distribution Network and our Rebuilt Units supply throughout Salem , Portland and Eugene .
